Entanglement detection with near-zero cost

چکیده

Recent research on parallel functional programming has culminated in a provably efficient (in work and space) memory manager, which been incorporated into the MPL (MaPLe) compiler for Parallel ML shown to deliver practical efficiency scalability. The manager exploits property of programs called disentanglement, restricts computations from accessing concurrently allocated objects. Disentanglement is closely related race-freedom, but subtly differs it. Unlike however, no known techniques exists ensuring leaving task entirely programmer. This challenging task, because it requires reasoning about low-level operations (e.g., allocations accesses), especially difficult languages. In this paper, we present detecting entanglement dynamically, while program running. We first dynamic semantics language with references that checks by consulting sequential dependency relations program. Notably, mutable objects only. prove soundness several realizing efficiently, particular pruning away large number checks. also provide bounds space our techniques. show detection are implementing them ML. Considering variety benchmarks, an evaluation measure time overheads less than 5% average up 72 cores. These results negligible cost can therefore remain deployed little or impact efficiency, scalability, space.

Quantum entanglement in plasmonic waveguides with near-zero mode indices.

We investigate the quantum entanglement between two quantum dots (QDs) in a plasmonic waveguide with a near-zero mode index, considering the dependence of concurrence on interdot distance, QD waveguide frequency detuning, and coupling strength ratio. High concurrence is achieved for a wide range of interdot distances due to the near-zero mode index, which largely relaxes the strict requirement ...

Density near zero

Let $S$ be a dense subsemigroup of $(0,+infty)$. In this paper, we state   definition of thick near zero, and also  we will introduce a definition that is equivalent to the definition of piecewise syndetic near zero which presented by Hindman  and Leader in [6].  We define density near zero for subsets of $S$ by a collection of nonempty finite subsets of $S$ and we investigate the conditions un...

Ubiquitous Nonlocal Entanglement with Majorana Zero Modes.

Entanglement in quantum mechanics contradicts local realism and is a manifestation of quantum nonlocality. Its presence can be detected through the violation of Bell, or Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequalities. Paradigmatic quantum systems provide examples of both, nonentangled and entangled states. Here, we consider a minimal complexity setup consisting of six Majorana zero modes. We fi...

Zero-error Source-channel Coding with Entanglement

We study the use of quantum entanglement in the zero-error source-channel coding problem. Here, Alice and Bob are connected by a noisy classical one-way channel, and are given correlated inputs from a random source. Their goal is for Bob to learn Alice’s input while using the channel as little as possible. In the zero-error regime, the optimal rates of source codes and channel codes are given b...

Improving zero-error classical communication with entanglement

Given one or more uses of a classical channel, only a certain number of messages can be transmitted with zero probability of error. The study of this number and its asymptotic behavior constitutes the field of classical zero-error information theory. We show that, given a single use of certain classical channels, entangled states of a system shared by the sender and receiver can be used to incr...
